Fauci says he "wouldn't be surprised" if COVID cases reached 100,000 a day

While testifying before the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases, said that the entire country is at risk if an outbreak occurred . "We are now having 40,000+ cases a day, I would not be surprised if we go up to 100,000 a day if this does not turn around, so I am very concerned."
