A “hug curtain” is allowing elderly residents at a nursing home in Sao Paulo, Brazil to enjoy long-overdue embraces with their loved ones without fear of being infected by the coronavirus.  Businessman Bruno Zani said on June 13, 2020, that he designed the plastic curtain with functional arm slots as a way for families to enjoy being together despite the pandemic, which had infected more than 888,200 people and claimed 43,900 lives in Brazil, as of June 15.
