Adorable moment Indonesian children release hundreds of baby sea turtles for Word Environment Day

A group of lucky children from Padang city in West Sumatra in Indonesia today (June 6th) helped release hundreds of turtle hatchings into the sea as part of World Environment Day.

Footage showed the youngsters placing the tiny reptiles on the sand and watching them scurry into the sea.

According to the event organiser, 250 of the sea turtles of different species were released.

He added that his organisation has released 50,000 hatchings in the past four years.
