New Delhi: Amid the ongoing border standoff, India and China will hold Lieutenant General-level talks on Saturday morning. Indian Army sources were quoted as saying that the talks will be held in Maldo in China, opposite Chushul in Ladakh sector. From the Indian side, 14 Corps Commander Lieutenant General Harinder Singh will take part in the discussions. Major General Liu Lin, commander of South Xinjiang Military Region of the People’s Liberation Army, will join the talks on China’s behalf to address the ongoing dispute along Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, sources added.
