China has completed the construction of a strategic highway through the Brahmaputra Canyon, stated to be the world’s deepest, close to the Arunachal Pradesh border ahead of its plan to build a mega-dam over the gorge.

అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్‌కు సమీపంలో టిబెట్ భూభాగంలోని బ్రహ్మపుత్ర లోయ మీదుగా చైనా వ్యూహాత్మక రహదారి నిర్మాణాన్ని పూర్తి చేసింది. 310 మిలియన్ డాలర్ల వ్యయంతో దీన్ని నిర్మించారు. ఈ రహదారితో చైనీస్ బోర్డర్ కౌంటీకి, సమీప నగరమైన నియింగ్చికి మధ్య ప్రయాణ దూరం 8 గంటల మేర తగ్గనుంది. యర్లుంగ్ జంగ్‌బో లోయ,గ్రాండ్ లోయల మీదుగా అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్‌కు సమీపంలోని బైబంగ్ కౌంటీ వరకు ఈ రహదారిని నిర్మించారు. అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్‌లోని ఎగువ సియాంగ్ జిల్లాలోని బిషింగ్ గ్రామానికి ఈ రహదారికి సమీప దూరంలోనే ఉంది.
