NYC Hits COVID-19 Milestone
With Zero Reported Deaths
in 24-Hour Period According to the 'New York Post,'
there were no fatalities from COVID-19
in New York City on June 4. It is the first time since March 12 that the city
has gone a day without new coronavirus deaths. However, there were three people who died
that day whose deaths may be linked to the virus. City Hall spokeswoman Avery Cohen says those
specific deaths could be reclassified at a later date. The 'New York Post' adds that New York City has
reported nearly 17,000 deaths from the pandemic. Additional records show that COVID-19 killed
a peak of 590 people in the city back on April 7. Avery Cohen, via

has been rocked with multiple violent confrontations
between protesters and police in recent days. According to the 'New York Daily News,'
plans to reopen businesses remain
