Bob McAdoo and Cedric Maxwell both grew up in North Carolina, where many black voters were disenfranchised.
Michael Cooper, who grew up in Pasadena, CA, said he votes because it is his duty to pass along the lessons of Martin Luther King, Jr and the Civil Rights Leaders that came before.
