Our Journey:
On Day 1 (Second Week of March 2020), we reached barot early morning and checkin to our hotel "Barot Valley". We booked this hotel for 3 hours only and paid Rs. 2000/- for 10 persons, (Breakfast not included). We take some rest and get ready to explore Barot, Barot is very beautifull place to visit specially for scenaric views, but our destination was Rajgunda so after breakfast in local dhaba in barot, we started our journey to the nearest village from Rajgunda village.
Due to heave snow on raod, we could not reach to baragram withour cab, so we have to leave our cab 4km before baragram and started our journey. After we cross baragram, snowfall started and we took shelter in a school. it was awsm expericence to trek in snow fall where everything is covered with snow. after approx 30 minutes of snowfall, we again started our journey and reached Rajgunda Village at approx 7pm. it was dark there so we could not shoot in dark also we were very tired, our guide arange bonfire inside our cottage, we could enjoy bonfire outside because of toomuch snow there. It was a great experience of trekking and spending a night in a wooden cotttage. Please watch Day 2 video, link shared below.
