Fresh Fruit Tart Recipe | Food Celebrations

Ingredients:
For the Filling
1 Egg
2 tbsp sugar
100ml milk + 400ml milk

For the dough
2 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
115g butter
A little milk for bringing the dough together
Melted chocolate
Apples, strawberries, bananas or any fruit of your choice

Method:
For the filling, take an egg and add sugar, cornflour, 100 ml of milk and mix well. In a pan, heat 400ml of milk. Add the egg mixture to this milk and cook on low flame till it thickens. Allow to cool.
For the dough add salt, sugar and butter to the flour and mix. Add a little milk to bring the dough together. Roll out the dough and transfer to a greased baking tart pan. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 – 25 minutes. Pour some melted chocolate on the tart crust. Add the filling and then decorate with fresh fruit of your choice.
