Once MS Dhoni was given out which he didn’t think he was, he threw his bat and made a dash to the dressing room and came late for the practice. So, he does get angry,” he further said. इरफान ने स्टार स्पोर्ट्स के शो बताया कि 2006-07 में ऐसा हुआ था, "वार्म अप मैच के दौरान हमारा एक मैच था जिसमें दाएं हाथ के बल्लेबाजों को बाएं हाथ से बल्लेबाजों करना था. ऐसे ही बाएं हाथ के बल्लेबाजों को दाएं हाथ से खेलना था. इसके बाद हमें अपनी प्रैक्टिस में जाना था. तो वार्म अप मैच के दौरान दो टीमें थी. एक बार जब एमएस धौनी को आउट दिया गया जो कि उनको लगता था आउट नहीं है. वो ड्रेसिंग रूम में गए और उन्होंने अपना बल्ला जोर से फेंका और इसकी वजह से एक निशान बना था इसके बाद वो पैक्टिस में भी थोड़ी देरी से आए तो इससे यह मालूम हुआ की वो भी गुस्सा होते हैं."
