India sees highest single-day spike, records 3,900 cases, 195 deaths in 24 hours

India recorded the biggest single-day jump in the number of coronavirus patients and deaths linked to the virus as 3,900 new cases were reported, 195 COVID-19 patients died in the last 24 hours. This takes the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 46,433, including 1,568 deaths.
