In an ongoing coronavirus lockdown, a one-off special train ferried migrant workers from Lingampalli in Hyderabad to Hatia in Jharkhand. Train service for stranded migrant workers was started on the request of Telangana Government and as per the directions of Union Railway Ministry. All necessary precautions such as prior screening of passengers, maintaining social distancing at station and in the train were followed. Earlier, Jharkhand government has also demanded special train so that migrant workers could be brought back.

దాదాపు నలభై రోజులుగా స్థంభించిపోయిన రైల్యే వ్యవస్థను కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం పునరుద్దరించేందకు మొగ్గు చూపుతోంది. అందులో బాగంగా హైదరాబాద్ లోని లింగంపల్లి నుండి ఝార్ఖండ్ రాష్టానికి ప్రత్యేక రైలును నడిపేందుకు కేంద్ర గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇచ్చింది. మార్చి నెలలో లాక్‌డౌన్ ప్రకటించక ముందు నుంచే దేశంలో రైలు ప్రయాణాలు నిలిచిపోయాయి. గూడ్స్ రైళ్ళు తప్ప ప్రయాణికుల రైళ్ళు పూర్తిగా ఆగిపోయాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో పలుమార్లు టికెట్ల జారీకి సిద్ధమైన రైల్వేశాఖ, కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ హెచ్చరికలతో వెనక్కి తగ్గింది. అయితే తాజాగా దేశంలో రైలు ప్రయాణాలకు గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇచ్చినట్లు రైల్వే శాఖ నిర్ధారిస్తోంది.
