A six-year-old boy has designed the shirt that his team will wear in Italy's second tier once the the coronavirus lockdown is lifted and the championship resumes.

Luigi D'Agostino won a competition called "Design the Dolphin's special shirt" organised by the Serie B club.

"The background is a beautiful blue sea and sky, then there's the rainbow, the symbol of peace, of hope, of the end of the war," D'Agostino told SNTV during an exclusive interview.

He added: "Above there's light blue, a colour that had to be there, my favourite and the colour of the Pescara team."

The shirt will be worn by the players during the pre-match warm-up this season and may also be used during some friendly matches and the Coppa Italia next season.
