Jurgen Klopp faces an anxious wait to discover the extent of Fabinho's injury after the Brazilian was forced off during the win against Midtjylland on Tuesday.

Liverpool maintained their perfect start to the Champions League campaign with a 2-0 victory at Anfield. But Klopp's side appears severely depleted in central defence with Fabinho suffering a muscle issue in the first half.

Virgil van Dijk is a long term absentee for the Reds while Joel Matip also remains sidelined.
