In an unprecedented achievement for Jordanian sports, five Olympic athletes will represent Jordan's boxing team in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, that are now postponed for 2021.

The team of five boxers qualified for the Tokyo Olympics after they achieved five medals at the 2020 Asia and Oceania Qualification Tournament in Amman with the participation of 221 players, representing 35 countries.

Two of the boxers, Obada Al-Kasbeh and Hussein Ishaish will represent their country for the second time after they qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Zayed Ishaish, Mohammad Al-Wadi and Odai Al-Hindawi qualified for their first Olympics. It will be Jordan's eleventh consecutive participation in an Olympic Games since they took part in Moscow 1980.
