पंजाब टीम के कप्तान मनदीप सिंह को आज भी वह दिन याद है, जब भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान महेंद्र सिंह धोनी उनकी शादी में पहुंचे थे। धोनी के मनदीप की शादी में आने से इस क्रिकेटर के लिए वह दिन और भी खास बन गया था। मनदीप के लिए धोनी का आना इसलिए भी बेहद खा रहा, क्योंकि वह काफी लंबा सफर तय करके क्रिकेटर को बधाई देने पहुंचे थे। तीन अलग-अलग फ्लाइट्स और दो घंटे की ड्राइविंग के बाद धोनी इस शादी में पहुंचे थे।
