The lure of Extreme Ironing seemingly knows no bounds. A 36-year old British woman has become the first person to perform the sport at the awe inspiring vista of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA.
The sport aims to take the tedium out of the domestic task by combining ironing with adrenaline-inducing outdoor pursuits. For most, the chance just to stop and stare at the natural wonder of the Grand Canyon is enough.
But that simply was not enough for Pam Harris - better known as "Crease" - instead, she wanted to become the first person ever to carry out an Extreme Iron by the spectacular back drop.
