Coronavirus: China’s national day of mourning for Covid-19 victims

The Chinese government has announced that April 4, 2020, will be an official day of mourning for people who died from Covid-19. The disease caused by a new coronavirus was first detected in China in late 2019, before it developed into a global pandemic that has killed more than 3,300 people in the country and infected more than a million worldwide.
