Lockdown से Highway पर फंसे हजारों Truck, टूट सकती है देश की Supply chain | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Amid lockdown in India over novel coronavirus pandemic, thousands of truck drivers in West Bengal are struggling to find food as they travel hundreds of kilometres to carry gas tankers for filling LPG gas cylinders. At least 2,000 tankers, part of essential services in the lockdown, are now stranded on the National Highway 116B Mecheda to Haldia route. They have been waiting for almost two days since the lockdown began across country.

एक ट्रक ड्राइवर ने कहा कि वो 35 सालों से ट्रक चला रहे हैं कि लेकिन एक सप्ताह से ज्यादा कभी भी उन्होंने खाने-पीने की समस्या नहीं झेली है. उन्होंने कहा कि अगर हम ट्रकों को मंजिल तक नहीं पहुंचाते हैं तो देश की सप्लाई चेन ही टूट जाएगी.
