INDIA: LEOPARD ENTERS SCHOOL DURING COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

The big cat was seen charging down school hallways as officials desperately tried to catch it in a coronavirus-quarantined city

The incident took place at the DSB International School in the Indian city of Rishikesh.
The country’s 1.3billion population have been placed on a strict lockdown to try to limit the spread of coronavirus, leaving the school empty for the big cat to stroll around.
A chilling video shows forestry officials running down the corridor seconds before the creature charges into sight.
It skids across the floor before disappearing into a room.
As it vanishes, the officials at the end of the corridor can be seen blocking the exit with some sort of net in the hope of catching it.
Akash Verma, a forest department worker, was injured in the rescue and was sent to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences for treatment.
The three-year-old leopardess had strayed into the school on the morning of March 24 and was spotted by several residents.
Officials finally managed to tranquilise the creature and it was carried out of the school.
