The government has capped the price of a 200 ml hand sanitizer bottle at ₹100 Lifebuoy sanitizer, hand wash and Domex floor cleaners to become cheaper by 15%. Consumer affairs minister Ram Vilas Paswan, in a tweet Friday, said prices of other pack sizes of hand sanitizers will correspond with this. Similarly, price of a 2 ply (surgical) mask is to be capped at Rs8 and that of 3 ply (surgical) mask at ₹10. The price limits will be in force till 30 June, the government said in a release.

बाजारों में मास्क और सेनेटाइजर की बिक्री बढ़ गई है। बिक्री बढ़ने के साथ की दुकानदार ग्राहकों से मास्क और सेनेटाइजर पर मनमानी कीमत वसूल रहे हैं। सरकार ने इस पर रोक लगाने के लिए बड़ा कदम उठाया है। सरकार ने मास्क और सेनेटाइजर के दाम तय कर दिए हैं। कोई भी दुकानदार मास्क और सेनेटाइजर पर तय राशि से ऊपर नहीं वसूल सकेगा। अगर वह अधिक कीमत वसूलता पकड़ता जाता है तो उस पर कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। सरकार ने 200 ML के हैंड सैनेटाइजर की कीमत अधिकतम 100 रुपए तय की है जबकि एक मास्क की अधिकतम कीमत 10 रुपए तय की है। सरकार का यह आदेश 30 जून तक प्रभावी रहेगा।
