2020 Olympic Games - What happens next?

The IOC have not yet released a statement to reveal whether or not they have decided to go ahead with the summer Olympics.
However Japanese Olympic Minister Seiko Hashimoto said last Friday that, "the IOC and organising committee are not considering cancellation or a postponement, absolutely not at all."
Many athletes have come forward to share their opinions, including Heptathlete Katerina Johnson-Thompson who admitted it is "impossible" to train with Olympic champion Katerina Stefanidi adding that athletes are "risking their health".
