Madhya Pradesh BJP filed a plea in the Supreme Court on Monday seeking an order to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly to hold a floor test within 12 hours, as per the direction issued by Governor Lalji Tondon. The petiton contended that despite the clear-cut directions issued by the Governor to Chief Minister Kamal Nath to seek vote of confidence and prove his majority on the floor.

मध्यप्रदेश विधानसभा अध्यक्ष एनपी प्रजापति ने अपने विशेषाधिकार का इस्तेमाल करते हुए सदन की कार्रवाई 26 मार्च तक के लिए स्थगित कर दी। इसके बाद गहमागहमी और बढ़ गई है। अटकलों का सिलसिला शुरू ही हुआ था कि आगे क्या होगा, इतने में दिल्ली से खबर आई कि भाजपा ने विधानसभा अध्यक्ष के फैसले के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट का रुख किया है। बीजेपी ने मामले की तत्काल सुनवाई की मांग की है।
