Coronavirus: 244 Hongkongers evacuated from central China after weeks in outbreak epicentre

Over 200 people were flown to Hong Kong from the mainland Chinese city of Wuhan on March 4, 2020. They arrived on two government-chartered flights after waiting weeks to be evacuated from the central province of Hubei, the epicentre of the coronavirus epidemic. Two more flights were scheduled to arrive on March 5, with another 200 or more Hong Kong residents. But the fate of more than 3,000 other Hongkongers still trapped in cities across Hubei remains unclear.
