Authorities in Cape Town have removed migrants from the area of Greenmarket Square as part of an operation to remove migrants from the city centre.

Footage from March 3 shows the group who were removed from Greenmarket Square on Sunday - after a five-month stay - along different roads close to Buitenkant Street.

Ismail Kazadi, a Congolese refugee, said they are being treated like cockroaches and have nowhere to go.
