The chips are down for gamblers wanting to cross the Mekong river from Thailand by boat to these Chinese casinos in Laos.

Laos immigration is not permitting entry and the casinos have stopped ferrying clients across from Chiang Saen due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The location is part of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, a Chinese town within Laos under a 99-year lease agreement.

Laos has not reported any coronavirus cases.
