When our CEO decided to renovate his daylight basement into a home theater, we had some interesting choice to make. Should it be tied into the whole-home Savant home automation system, or should it stand on its own? The answer, it turns out, was a hybrid approach that married a classic Home Theater install with Savant's systems attached to it. Have a look at the gear we chose and how it all came together.
