Locals for and against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) pelted stones at one another as violence erupted in New Delhi on February 24 as President Donald Trump made his first visit to the Indian capital.

The footage shows locals launching stones at each other with a couple of vehicles burning in the background.

According to officials Head Constable Ratan Lal, who suffered injuries during stone-pelting, has died.

After the anti-CAA protesters set cars on fire, the pro-CAA group retaliated by setting shops and a house on fire.
