Lack of fan support when facing Federer and Nadal does not bother Djokovic

Novak Djokovic on Tuesday rejected the notion that he always plays the role of 'the bad guy' when he goes up against either Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal.

The newly-crowned Australian Open champion was speaking in his home town of Belgrade as he took time away from practice ahead of next week's Dubai Duty Free Championships in the United Arab Emirates.

"The fact is that when I play with Federer and when I play Nadal... the majority of the crowd is on their side, but that does not mean that they hate me and that I should now turn the whole of Serbia and the sporting public against the whole world," he said.

"I really don't have the feeling that people don't like me." he added. "There are certain places in the world and certain tournaments where I have more support, there are certain places where I have less support."
