Indonesian glasses-maker turns waste wood into stylish frames

A craftsman in northwest Indonesia has been taking wasted pieces of scrap wood and turning them into stylish frames for glasses.

The work, filmed here on February 7 near Padang Panjang, West Sumatra, is reportedly very cheap since he uses wood taken from damaged furniture and other waste sources.

The frames are claimed to be lighter and cheaper than conventional frames, and come in a variety of colours and styles.
