Budget 2020: Centre offers aid to fast-track Bengaluru suburban rail project

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has offered aid to kick start the much delayed suburban rail service t to Bengaluru. The central government will be offering 20-percent of the Rs 18,600 crore Bengaluru rail network project.
And, it has also offered to assist up to 60% of the cost of the project through external agencies.
