in Super Bowl history. The previous lowest-scoring Super Bowl
was 21 points in 1973's Super Bowl VII, where the Miami Dolphins defeated
the Washington Redskins 14-7. The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated
the Minnesota Vikings 16-6 in Super Bowl IX. In 1969, the New York Jets defeated the Baltimore Colts 16-7 in Super Bowl III. The Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins combined
for 27 points in Super Bowl VI. The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs will compete in Super Bowl LIV in Miami on February 2nd.
