The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 16-6 in Super Bowl IX. In 1969, the New York Jets defeated the Baltimore Colts 16-7 in Super Bowl III. The Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins combined for 27 points in Super Bowl VI. In the NFL's highest-scoring
season ever, the Patriots and Rams entered
the 4th quarter tied 3-3. The Patriots scored the only touchdown with 7 minutes remaining in the game.
