Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said the government might reconsider the Anti-Fake News Act if necessary but there were other laws in place to deal with fake news such as the Penal Code.

Muhyiddin was responding to a question on former law minister Azalina Othman Said who had criticised the government for repealing the Anti-Fake News Act.
