A golden tree snake slithers across the ruins of an ancient Khmer temple in Sakaeo, eastern Thailand. Footage from January 6 shows the reptile on Sdok Kok Thom, an 11th century temple that was dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Suttawan Bewer recorded the snake while travelling with his family. He said: "We were so captivated by the creature slithering on the ruins. It was very atmospheric and fitted in with the surroundings.''
