Lohri festival is one of the major festivals of Punjab. It is an agricultural festival and shows the changes in nature. Lohri is the longest last night of the year. People gather with family, relatives and neighbors, in the night fire is lit under the sky, people sing folk songs.

लोहड़ी पर्व पंजाब के प्रमुख त्‍योहारों में एक है। ये कृषि पर्व है और प्रकृति में होने वाले परिवर्तनों को दिखाता है। लोहड़ी के दिन साल की सबसे लंबी अंतिम रात होती है। लोग परिवार, रिश्‍तेदारों और पड़ोसियों के साथ इकट्ठा होते हैं। रात को आसामन के नीचे आग जलाकर उसके चारों ओर चक्‍कर काटते हुए लोक गीत गाते हैं।
