Bull rescued with crane after falling into 8-foot-trench in north India

A bull which fell into a 8-foot-deep ditch in north India was rescued with the help of a rescue team using a crane to lift it free.

According to local residents the bull fell into the 'nullah' by a Highway police station area in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, in the early hours of January 7.

The animal was only discovered later the same morning, with locals immediately contacting an animal rescue team to help save it.

The team resorted to bringing in a crane to lift the bull out wholesale, allowing it to go free after safely retrieving it.
