The Maha Vikas Aghadi Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday allocated the portfolios to his team of ministers for the Maharashtra government after over a month of coming to power. While NCP’s Ajit Pawar, who is the deputy chief minister, has been allocated the finance and planning portfolio, Home Ministry has been allocated to NCP's Anil Deshmukh and Eknath Shinde of the Sena is incharge of Urban Development Ministry. Aaditya Thackeray will handle tourism and environment.Senior Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat has got the revenue ministry.

महाराष्ट्र में लंबी खींचतान के बाद उद्धव सरकार ने मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार के बाद विभागों का बंटवारा कर दिया है. राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी ने मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे द्वारा प्रस्तावित विभागों के आवंटन को मंजूरी दे दी है. उद्धव ठाकरे ने मंत्रिमंडल का विस्तार करते हुए अजित पवार को वित्त मंत्रालय की कमान सौंपी, वहीं एनसीपी के अनिल देशमुख को महाराष्ट्र का गृहमंत्री बनाया गया है. कांग्रेस नेता बालासाहेब थोराट को राजस्व विभाग, अशोक चव्हाण को PWD और शिवसेना के एकनाथ शिंदे को शहरी विकास मंत्रालय मिला है.
