Firefighters freed a two-year-old boy's head from a kettle in southern China on December 31.

The video, shot in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province, shows firemen using a tool to cut the kettle to open and then removing it from the boy's head.

According to reports, the curious toddler may have put his head into the kettle while playing and gotten stuck inside.

After 20 minutes, the boy was rescued successfully.
