Chinese firefighters rescue piglets transported via motorcycle after they get trapped in flooded river

Firefighters in central China rescued 13 piglets transported on a motorcycle after it got trapped in a flooded river.

The video, filmed in Yuan'an County in Hubei Province on June 29, shows a motorcycle with 13 piglets in a basket getting stuck in the middle of a flooded river.

Firemen set up a zipline over the river, then three firefighters and the motorcyclist transport the piglets and the motorbike to the shore together.

According to reports, the motorcyclist got trapped in the middle of the river after he attempted to drive through it as he was not familiar with the route there.

The more than 10,000 yuan (£1,100) worth of piglets were rescued successfully and no one was injured.
