Firefighters in northern China rescued a worker buried in an eight-metre-deep concrete storage tank after he accidentally fell in.

The video, filmed in the city of Yan'an in Shaanxi Province on December 28, shows firefighters using their hands to dig out the man.

According to reports, the firemen lowered down into the deep tank via a rescue ladder and first used shovels and then their hands to remove the concrete.

After an hour, the worker was rescued successfully and taken to hospital.
