In the case in hand, an officer of Anti Corruption Bearue suspended a police constable for demanding bribe and posted him at the Headquarter where his duty was to manage Court proceeding. He was not been paid any money to deal with the court proceedings. In order to manage his household expenses and court affairs, he took some loan from some private moneylenders. Thereafter, the situation becomes bad to worse for him and ended his life by committing suicide.
I have also tried to summarize the arguments put forward by both the advocates and the considerations made by the Hon’ble Court. What happened to his family and why has he committed suicide and punishment has been awarded to the culprits.
