Air quality severe as dense fog blankets Delhi, likely to rain today

The air quality index was in the 'severe category' in Delhi on Saturday even as dense fog was observed at isolated places in the national capital at around 5:30 am, the India Meteorological Department said.On Friday, the IMD had forecast "severe cold conditions" accompanied by light rain drizzle in the city today.
