Thief smashes mother's windscreen when she catches him breaking into van while on school run with child in car

This is the scary moment a man hurled a workman's trolley at a woman\s car windscreen after she spotted him apparently robbing a van.
The clip, filmed on December 19 in Skellow, South Yorkshire, shows the moment Christina drove down a road to discover a man taking things out of a van parked on the side of the road.
Christina honked her horn to make the man move out of her way before realising he was robbing the vehicle.
"I beeped my horn again in the hope they would leave the van or someone else would come out their house to help me in the situation but it seemed to really p**s off the thief and he threw a workman's trolley at my windscreen then drove off," the filmer told Newsflare.
Christina who was on the school run and had her two children in her car at the time. Both were unharmed.
