Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 17 (ANI): While addressing the media in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on December 17, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati spoke on Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA).

She said, “BSP’s parliamentary party has also sought time to meet the President. Our party will also raise our voices in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and crimes against women.”

“I demand the central government to take back this unconstitutional law as otherwise, it may lead to negative consequences in the future. They should not create an emergency like circumstances, like Congress did earlier,” she added.
