Now the culprits who endanger the air safety will be fined 1 crore. The government has approved the proposed bill to amend the Aircraft Act, 1934. This approval was given in the meeting of the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this, it is proposed to increase the existing penalty of 10 lakh to 1 crore in addition to punishment on the persons convicted for carrying weapons, ammunition or dangerous objects in the aircraft or endangering the safety of the aircraft in any way.

अब विमान सुरक्षा को खतरे में डालने वाले दोषियों पर 1 करोड़ का जुर्माना लगेगा. सरकार ने एयरक्राफ्ट एक्ट, 1934 में संशोधन के लिए प्रस्तावित विधेयक को मंजूरी दे दी है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में हुई केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक में ये मंजूरी दी गई. इसमें विमान में हथियार, गोला बारूद या खतरनाक वस्तुएं ले जाने या विमान की सुरक्षा को किसी भी प्रकार से खतरे में डालने के दोषी व्यक्तियों पर सजा के अलावा 10 लाख के मौजूदा जुर्माने को बढ़ाकर 1 करोड़ करने का प्रस्ताव है.
