Shops were closed in Guwahati following a 12-hour 'bandh' call by North East Students' Organisation (NESO) and All Assam Students' Union (AASU) against Citizenship Amendment Bill which was passed in Lok Sabha on late night of December 09. On the other hand, All Assam Students' Union (AASU) held a protest in Dibrugarh against CAB. Several parts of Assam witnessed 'bandh' on the early morning of December 10.
