UK floods: Tewkesbury flooded as River Severn bursts its banks
  • 4 years ago
Tewkesbury Abbey in Gloucestershire in west-central England, was surrounded by floodwaters after weeks of rain in the UK.

While the popular tourist attraction was spared being inundated with water itself, much of the centre of the town was under water after both the River Avon and the River Severn, which meet in the town, burst their banks.
