Thai couple shocked after wild elephant raids their house at night

A couple were shocked after waking up in the middle of the night to find a wild elephant inside their house.
Kritsada Thongsuep heard loud crashing noises from his yard in Chachoengsao, central Thailand last Saturday (November 2) night.
Footage shows the hungry jumbo standing in his yard rummaging through kitchen utensils which had been stacked outside on a table.
Kritsada said that his family wanted local wildlife authorities to take some responsibility for the creatures and prevent them from getting inside people's homes.
He said: "I need the authorities to come down and help us. The elephant destroyed our rice cooker, ate the uncooked rice and did not leave any for us."
