Swine fever could kill 25% of the world’s pigs, scientists say

About one-quarter of the world's entire pig population could die from a global outbreak of African swine fever. The warning about the disease, which is not harmful to humans but fatal to hogs, was issued by the World Organization for Animal Health on October 31, 2019.
